The Filmmaking Process

This tutorial walks teachers through the stages of the filmmaking process, using stills and behind-the-scenes production photos from Citizen Kane (1941, directed by Orson Welles).  Note: An in-depth exploration of the entire film is provided in Module 6, Chapter 5 of the "Portraits of America: Democracy on Film" curriculum.
